Project Submission Update

Dear Uraan AI Participant

We are pleased to announce that over 600 project submissions have been successfully received so far under the Uraan AI Techathon. This overwhelming response reflects the immense talent, innovation, and enthusiasm of our participants from across the country.

In the spirit of maintaining a healthy and inclusive competition, we are still open to receiving project entries till Oct 27, 2025. To ensure smooth coordination and fair evaluation, all participating teams are requested to fill out the following Google Form at the earliest but before filling this form, please read the whole instructions very vigilantly.

The form is designed to address the following important points:

1. Regional Finales Planning

The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives is planning to conduct regional finales at various regional levels. The consolidated information collected through this form will enable us to reach, review, and evaluate individual projects efficiently.

2. Submission of Project Components

Kindly upload all components of your project (including source code, dataset, and other component mentioned in email) to your Google Drive and share the drive link in the form.

3. Restricted Access for Source Code/Datasets

Several teams have raised concerns regarding public access to their source code and datasets. To address this, you are requested to grant access to only the single official email ID mentioned in the google form. This will ensure data privacy and security while allowing proper evaluation.

4. Disqualification Notice

A total of 134 teams have been initially disqualified due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • Restricted or invalid Google Drive links
  • Incomplete source code or datasets
  • Missing or unclear audio/video explanations

Teams are advised to carefully review their submissions to avoid such issues.

5. Centralized Project Data Bank

This consolidated project database will not only facilitate evaluation for Uraan AI Techathon but will also enable the Government of Pakistan's other ministries to automatically consider your project for current and future AI-related competitions and initiatives. Relevant teams will contact you directly if your project aligns with upcoming opportunities. AI Wrapper Competition related good news will also be shared soon.

6. Compliance with Instructions

Please read all instructions provided in the Google Form carefully. Non-compliance with any instruction may result in disqualification without prior notice.

Submission Document (Word Format)

a. Project Summary (Overview)

  • What problem does your AI solution address?
  • Who benefits from it?
  • What are the inputs and outputs?
  • Why is it unique?
  • Type of model used (e.g., image classification, NLP, regression)
  • Libraries or tools used (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
  • Team's details (name, contact Number, Occupation, and team lead)

b. Performance Metrics (Accuracy or Results)

  • Mention two-three key performance metrics:
  • Classification: Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-Score
  • Regression: RMSE, MAE, R²
  • Include a confusion matrix or small graph/chart of performance.

Example: "Our model achieved 91% accuracy and correctly identified 9 out of 10 test cases."

c. Technical Environment Setup

Complete details of technical setup environment (environment.yml or requirements.txt ) of your model and all parameters details to reproduce that environment to reproduced by the evaluation committee to evaluate it like How to set up the environment and How to run the model

  • Environment configuration files (environment.yml or requirements.txt)
  • Model parameters and dependencies
  • How to set up and run the model for evaluation

5. Google Drive Shareable Link
